As the materials Fast Track is in its final year as a project, we would like to invite all with an interest in materials challenges to sign up and join us to hear about a variety of the interesting shorter and longer projects that have been accomplished during the last three years. FORCE Technology cordially invites members of the Fast Track AMPR(Advanced Materials in Production & Processes) group to a Network Meeting at our Lindø test facility where the main theme of the day will be Additive Manufacturing through Laser Cladding. Presentations will include some theoretical and practical background information on Laser Cladding presented by our specialists with supportive commercial cases and their current applications at FORCE Technology.

In addition to the theoretical and commercial case presentations, a tour of our Laser Cladding facility will also take place during the day. We will also take the opportunity to present and tour some of our additional test facilities located at Lindø. This includes our strong floor mechanical test bench used in the testing of large full-scale components for strain robustness or fatigue resistance in service as well as a visit to our 900 m3Climatic Test Chamber, which simulates realistic weather conditions and the effects of atmospheric exposure of large components, structures and functional systems.
