Specialist at Force Technology in Polymers and coatings. Background in organic/inorganic chemistry as well as surface physics. Has spent his professional career first in pharmaceuticals then onto adhesives and finally the last 11 years in coatings and related fields. Broad competences in the field of functional coatings and materials as well as polymer chemistry, especially advanced polymer systems with multiple curing mechanisms and materials with bulk nano-structural properties. Deep understanding of the corrosion protection mechanisms of various coating systems, especially those based on sacrificial types of corrosion inhibition.
Benny is senior technical advisor both internally and externally at Elplatek AS. Benny has a lab technical background and has worked with surface treatment for 35 years, mainly galvanic plating and printed circuit manufacturing. Benny has a good understanding of possibilities and challenges when we talk about surface treatment, and can assist in finding the optimal method depending on the requirements for the components.
Jesper is Professor at Aalborg University, Department of Materials and Production, section of Physics and Mechanical Engineering in the Materials Science and Biophysics research group. The expertise area is Polymers, composites, biomaterials, structure/properties, mechanical properties, diffusion, rheology, processing and micro and nano materials.
Jørn is a Senior Specialist at Terma A/S with focus on design for harsh environment, materials, surface treatment and corrosion. Jørn is experienced within environmental test methods and test standards.
Karen is Associate Professor at the Technical University of Denmark, Department of Mechanical Engineering, section of Materials and Surface Engineering. Her expertise covers physical metallurgy, surface engineering with thermal, mechanical, (electro-)chemical or physical treatments and combinations of these, as well as materials characterization including diffraction analysis, spectroscopy and advanced microscopy techniques.
Marianne is Head of Department of Plastics, Composites and Surface characterization at FORCE Technology. Marianne has a Ph.D. and background in polymer chemistry and now leads a number of specialists within polymers, composites, advanced surface and material characterization, scanning electron microscopy, isotope technics, radioactivity, life cycle assessment (LCA), circular economy, environmental product declaration (EPD), health and risk assessment of chemical substances etc.
Kasper is heading the surface treatment and corrosion department at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy and has a MSc in Mechanical Engineering with focus on materials science from the Technical University of Denmark. Kasper has been a head of department at Siemens Gamesa since 2016. Before this he has both worked as R&D Engineer, Project Manager and Team Leader at Siemens AG Corporate Technology Denmark where he has worked within the area of surfaces and coatings.
Lars is the director of the Tribology Centre, Danish Technological Institute. Lars Pleth Nielsen has a PhD degree in Physics from Aarhus University and a managerial degree in management, organisation and innovation from CBS in Copenhagen. He has been leading and expanding the Tribology Centre for more than 14 years with a focus on vacuum-based process. He is the co-author of the book “Advanced Surface Technology; A holistic view on the extensive and intertwined world of applied surface engineering” and represent both a wide and deep knowledge on surface related problems and solutions.
Peter is Head of the Electronics Department at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, and professor in materials and manufacturing at Jönköping Univesity, Sweden. The area of expertice is surface technology, electrochemical energy conversion, and electronics production and reliability.
Trine is a specialist in the Materials business unit at FORCE Technology. Trine has a PhD in Materials Science from DTU, with the main focus on metallic materials. The areas of expertise are metallurgy, failure analysis, fractography, microstructure characterisation, electron microscopy, high temperature corrosion and additive manufacturing.
